Paden's beautiful malamute Kaia enjoys a cool spot by the river while helping
to tote the load in her Trekker™ dog pack. Janet has outfitted the
center pocket of Kaia's pack with a small laminated instruction card, which we think is a
fantastic idea. Here is what it says (minus specific contact info):
This is KAIA.
She should be with Janet Paden, [Janet's address].
If Kaia is alone wearing her pack there is an emergency. Please look for me or call the appropriate agency -- Forest Service, BLM, County Sheriff, etc.
If I can not be found or can not care for her please contact one of the people on the following list, starting with the first. You will be reimbursed for any expenses incurred. Kaia is very dear and special. Please look out for her.
